On February 21, 2017, hundreds of Paycor associates from across the nation took part in the fourth "Pay It Forward" day in support of organizations in need. Since 2015, the Paycor sales and marketing teams have set aside a couple days a year to volunteer as a team in their local communities.

After the first Pay It Forward Day was met with success, the organization decided to make the event a biannual occurrence, encouraging associates to volunteer as a team every winter and fall.

“We believe in supporting the missions of our clients and in making our communities a better place to live, work and play,” said Jay Rouse, vice president of sales at Paycor. “This is just one small way we can support those that make a difference in our communities.”

This year’s volunteer activities ranged from painting at YMCAs, to sorting donations at foodbanks, and even planting and cleaning at a Zoo.

The Pay it Forward event is one component of Paycor’s unwavering commitment to the community. Through the associate-led community partners program, Paycor employees donated more than 6,000 hours and $255,000 dollars in 2016 alone. Doing the right thing, taking care of clients first and taking care of each other are three of the nine guiding principles that help fuel associates’ passion for giving back to the community.

Paycor is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, but has sales representatives and offices across the country. To learn more about Pay It Forward Day, visit Paycor’s Facebook page or follow the #PaycorItForward hashtag.
