Paycor’s Vice President of Talent Acquisition Honored by HRO Today as Talent Acquisition Leader of the Year

May 4, 2018

CINCINNATI, May 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Human Capital Management company Paycor today announced that its vice president of talent acquisition, Bill Neese, has been named HRO Today’s Talent Acquisition Leader of the Year. In its third year, the awards program honors professionals providing innovative practices and excellence in the talent acquisition field.

Neese was selected as the Leader of the Year among 16 talent acquisition professionals who work within areas such as employer branding, technology, staff development, engagement and retention and financial analysis. Award winners were announced at the HRO Today Forum, which brought together leading HR thinkers, practitioners, technologists and partners from April 30-May 2 in National Harbor, Maryland.

At Paycor, Neese spearheaded a highly effective data-driven initiative that ultimately predicted the necessary headcount for the following fiscal year with 99 percent accuracy, while also increasing hiring by 20 percent. By leveraging technologies such as drip campaign functionality and plug ins, Neese was able to optimize Paycor’s talent funnels, allowing his team to understand the sourcing strategy and candidate productivity needs required to meet Paycor’s ongoing strategic goals. As a part of the initiative, Neese also identified opportunities to improve candidate conversion and experience, ensuring that Paycor has just the right amount of talent and skills at the right time.

Neese and his team also led the charge on hiring several senior and C-level executives, including a chief product officer (CPO) and chief technology officer (CTO), both announced in March — underscoring Paycor’s continuous rapid growth in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) market and the company’s commitment to providing customers with the best possible service to help them make a true difference in their organizations.

Paycor’s chief HR officer (CHRO) Karen Crone was also recognized by HRO Today as one of the CHRO of the Year’s Leaders of Distinction for developing HR practices that are driving business transformation, impacting employee engagement and supporting an environment that fosters growth.
